Skies over Florida's Space Coast will be filled with aircraft Saturday and Sunday, April 17 & 18 for the Cocoa Beach Airshow. Star performers of the air show include the US Air Force Thunderbirds, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team and appearances of B-52 and B-1 Bombers, plus vintage aircraft. The airshow is held over the beach and various local hotels are offering stay and play packages for the two-day event.

The Environment Learning Center is a 64-acre nature center located on the western base of the Wabasso Bridge on the 510 Causeway in Vero Beach. The ELC invites people to come and enjoy nature, sit on one of their docks and watch dolphin play in the Indian River Lagoon. This weekend, they invite families for an Earth Day-themed, family fun day on Saturday, April 17 from 10 am to 2 pm. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge in Destin, Florida is presenting an Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 17 from 9 am to 3 pm. The theme of the day will be "Restore Our Earth." The refuge plans to broadcast the days activities via a Facebook Live feed for those who do not with to participate in person. For those who plan to attend, tickets are $5 per person. Attendees will be able to meet animal ambassadors, visit conservation focused learning stations and participate in a variety of activities.
